The center of the room below with the block removed
Looking up towards Melchiah's area, the walls clearly resemble those of Zephon's lair

Unlike every other room in the game, this one has a true roof. The appearance of the area and layout resemble a tunnel between Melchiah's territory and the Silenced Cathedral, much like the other hidden inter-area passages in the game. It may also be a coincidence, with the roof having been added accidentally or for some other forgotten purpose.
This area was discovered by accident while experimenting with the player Z-position control described in the how-to guide ' '. It is located above the Glyph energy powerup room in Melchiah's territory which is unlocked with the Soul Reaver.
